Alan Wins Gold Medal in PSA Competition

Alan Lichtenstein’s photo, “Don’t Push Me,” won the Gold Medal in the PPS Salon of the 2026 Dhaka Foto Fest in India.
His striking wildlife photo of two sea lions interacting on the rocks tells a story, and has the viewer wondering are they fighting? are they playing? Alan's photo invites you to enter a world of far-away places and nature's exotic habitats.
The gold medal is the highest PSA (Photographic Society of America) rating that can be awarded to a picture in a competition. It represents the best of technical accuracy, lighting, story-telling quality and form.
PSA rules state that "only 30% of the photos submitted can be considered for an award and of those submitted only 10% can be given some kind of award."
This award is a significant achievement for a member of our club.
