KKPPC Club Activity for June, 2025 - Issue 1 | Hello Folks,
Recently we've gotten feedback from our Strategic Directions surveys, and through individual member feedback, that we should seek to improve our club communications. In an effort to streamline the way we communicate, recognizing that most of us lead very busy lives, we are introducing this monthly Newsletter.
We're sending out too many emails, from different sources, some of which are redundant to each other. We need to reach those who don't regularly use social media like Facebook, (although we'll still post club activity details there), and those who don't routinely come to the KPPC website.
Hopefully, through this email Newsletter, you, the members, will have ready access to the details of who-what-where-how-when we hold events such as photo shares and photo shoots.
Welcome!
Larry Kelly

This is our annual trip to the Bushwick Collective in Bushwick, Brooklyn to shoot graffiti.
The Bushwick Collective is an outdoor art gallery and collective in Bushwick, New York, located at Troutman Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. It was established in 2012 after a neighbourhood resident donated his wall to provide empty walls for street artists. It's a great area to capture photos of talented graffitti artists.
Details:
- Travel light with gear, since we will be walking most of the day.
- There is car pooling available for KP folks at the Municipal lot adjacent to the Kings Park Public Library. Meet there at 11 am.
- Or meet up with others at the Park and Ride, 395 N Service Road in Huntington at 11:30 am
- Or people can just go directly to 445 Troutman Street, Brooklyn (Corner of St Nicholas Ave and Troutman Street) @12:30PM.
