Highlights:
  • Move beyond "pretty places".  Stop chasing locations. Work the scene.
  • Focus on light, skies, negative space, different focal lengths
  • Scout a location with advance planning
  • Use a tripod
  • Remove distractions, underexpose, study your misses... and many other tips and guidelines

Monthly Photo Shares

In the February Photo Share, participants found subjects "Around the House". What followed was an interesting discussion of topics such as:
  • Light as the tool in making even mundane objects look like artwork.
  • Panoramas: the need to line up your lens's nodal points to control distortion.
  • Presets in Lightroom
  • Defraction, or loss of sharpness when your aperture gets smaller.
  • Focus stacking - merging multiple images taken at different focus points to create a single, ultra-sharp image. Art & George use this for macro shots.
Photos from the February session appear below.

The March photo share will take place on Monday, March 9th at 7pm on Zoom. You do not have to submit a photo to attend. Email your two photos to Eric at  webmaster@kingsparkphotoclub.org
