Important Note on Parking & Entrance
Please plan to arrive at 4:00 PM or later.
Park entrance fees are waived starting at 4:00 PM, so arriving at or after 4:00 PM ensures that you won't have to pay a vehicle entrance fee. (NY State Park vehicle fees are also waived on weekdays for seniors with a valid NYS driver's license/ID.)
To find the picnic pavilion, head to the main park grounds located at 799 Saint Johnland Road in Kings Park, NY. The pavilion sits near the bluff, overlooking the water, situated just behind the park’s administration building. It's close to the playground and walking paths.
Food & Refreshments
As in past years, the club will be providing the food. We’re planning to order the popular Italian and American hero packages from 3 Sons Deli, along with sides, paper plates, and plastic utensils.
Please bring your own beverages and a lawn chair if you’d like.
And, of course, bring your appetite, your favorite photography stories, and feel free to bring a camera if you’d like to capture some of the fun — and perhaps some beautiful evening light at the park!
